Dear Friends and Family,
Things here in Milano are going great!!! Minus the fact that 95% of the country is on vacation right now :( However, we arent letting up! Most of our investigators are gone right now, but we are working hard with those we do have, and are trying to find new investigators. We even have an investigator preparing to be baptized next week!!! Awesome! Finding work here in Italy is difficult, but whenever we have a good lesson, its all worth it. During this week, I have really learned to Feast upon the words of Christ. My studies have been AWESOME. Im seriously reading and studing at least 5 or 6 chapters in the BOM a day, as well as Preach my Gospel. Ive also started reading Jesus the Christ, A fantastic book. I now have a goal to read the entire bible, BOM, and the Pearl of great price by the end of my mission, something I feel is very tangible. I am finding that as I read and ponder the scriptures, no matter the day we have had, I am content. If we can find but one person to help bring unto christ, if they are improved in any way at all, whether they be a member or not, we have done well! Its important to realize that this includes ourselves! If we are closer to God by the end of the day than we were in the beginning, we are doing great! But we can yet be better!!
Okay so Milano is great, but its probably the least "Italian" City in l'Italia. There are tons of foreigners here, and you can get all sorts of non italian things here. For instance, we live right by a japonese restaurant, and they sell peanut butter here. Last week we went to the Duomo, and we plan on going back today to see some other churches. I have pictures this week!
Well friends, I love you all and youll here from me next week! Let me know what yall are up to! Id love to hear from you!
